when you see the massive amount of stuff and polish in GW2 you gotta wonder what the hell bioware were doing with swtor
betting we have to share the network and login server resources with US customers so things go pear shaped during EU evenings during the overlap

Diablo III Open Beta Weekend

We're pleased to announce the Diablo III open beta weekend, which offers open access to all players with a valid Battle.net account! Beginning this Friday everyone is invited to log in and help us put the game and servers through their paces in this three day stress test as we march toward the game's release on May 15. You can begin downloading the Diablo III client right now!
From Friday, April 20 at 21:01 CEST, until Monday, April 23 at 19:00 CEST you'll be able to log in, team up with friends, and play each of the five heroic classes to level 13 as you fight to save the world from the impending demonic invasion.

The first official public beta weekend will be begin April 27th.  A beta key will be required for access or alternatively pre-orders will get automatic entry to the betas.

Seems Bioware are getting off to a good start with the first major update to the game. Alot of pretty standard MMO features plus some interesting new stuff.  
 

Guild Wars 2 - Beta Events Sign up open for 48 hours - Closed

Yesterday ArenaNet opened Guild Wars 2 beta event signups, although they are only accepting applications for 48 hours, or just over 24 hours at the time of this post.

So be quick if you want to get onto the list of possible beta testers.

This is not an open beta and you will be required to sign an NDA should you be chosen.

My opinion is that I think they have a solid base but I think they need to add some of the things missing from the game ...

Our assigned server is Frostclaw.

For those that didnt pre-join the guild please create your characters on this server. I will update this post and our forums with character names who are able to recruit you to the guild.
